Key personnel

The Professionals Behind Every Project.

A small firm means short lines. Our vice president and chief operating officer is a practicing industrial hygienist, and our office administrator is the one who answers the phone, schedules the inspection, and keeps your report on schedule.

Alexis Bailey

Industrial Hygienist · Vice President · Chief Operating Officer

Alexis Bailey combines the science of an industrial hygienist with the responsibilities of vice president and chief operating officer — field discipline and firm leadership in one seat.

Her industrial hygiene practice includes environmental diagnostics, exposure assessments, environmental testing, and development of project-specific protocols and recommendations. As COO she runs the firm's day-to-day operations — project scoping, staff coordination, management of field operations, and technical report review to ensure efficient project execution and client satisfaction.

How we work

What sets Ecosystems apart.

i.

Attention to detail

An intense focus on environmental and occupational health and safety in all aspects of the environmental industry tailored to each project — carried into every sample, every reading/result, every report.

ii.

Quality management practices & professional integrity

Plans and designs that are site specific — built around the contaminant, the location, environmental impact, health and safety, and cost and time constraints. Each report is reviewed by the team before it leaves the office. We believe credibility is earned through honesty, accountability, and a commitment to delivering reliable, defensible results.

iii.

Regulatory fluency

Extensive working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations — and of many state departments of environmental protection. Knowledge of regulations is only the beginning. We understand how requirements apply in real-world situations and provide practical, actionable guidance that helps clients make informed decisions with confidence.

By combining technical excellence, quality-focused processes, professional integrity, regulatory expertise, and continuous learning, we provide clients with defensible results and practical solutions.
